About Us

As you pass through the northeastern plains of Colorado, you will find the Inspirations Quilt Shop located in Fort Morgan, Colorado.  The shop was originally started by Nancy Hocheder and Ginger McCafferty in 1995.  When Ginger moved back to Montana in 2008 to be closer to her family, Nancy purchased Ginger’s share of the business.

Located in Fort Morgan, CO, Inspirations Quilt Shop is a bright, energetic quilt shop packed with everything you need to complete your favorite quilting projects. Our extensive selection of high quality fabrics includes new collections from Kaffe Fassett and Free Spirit, Northcott, Moda, In The Beginning and many batiks to name just a few. With a wide selection of coordinating solids, flannels, Australian fabrics, and seasonal fabrics, as well as old favorites from Sweetwater (by local designer Karla Eisenach and daughters Lisa and Susan), there’s plenty here to inspire your inner quilting artist and give you endless creative options. To make your quilting experience more efficient and enjoyable, we also offer an extended assortment of helpful notions, tools, patterns, books, embroidery supplies, and a wide variety of classes.  We continually update our inventory and class offerings to ensure that you have the latest products, techniques, and technologies the industry has to offer!

 
Jaylene Evans
Owner and Avid Quilter
Inspirations originally opened in 1995, Jaylene Evans purchased Inspirations Quilt Shop from previous owner, Nancy Hocheder, in June 2014.  A retired business instructor and dean at Morgan Community College (MCC) and avid quilter, Jaylene is a self-confessed quilt-a-holic and has many quilts to her credit, including an annual quilting project that she previously coordinated and continues participation in for the MCC Foundation to raise money for college scholarships.

Brenda Addy
Manager
Brenda started with us in January 2022 and is our manager.  She loves batiks, applique, longarm quilting and purple fabrics!

Cheryl Flair
Staff Member & Instructor
She has been sewing since she was 9. Loves seasonal quilts, Christmas, & Halloween.  She's the best teacher for our kids classes!
